I can't BELIEVE that I forgot to add the alligator picture!  I don't have an adaptor this week so I can't send it to you, but I'll send it next week, I promise!  I'm sorry that I haven't written back to your last emails yet, last week was crazy busy and I ran out of time before I could write you guys.  But this week, I have a little more time so you should DEFINITELY expect a hand-written letter this week.

So sad news, I got transferred.  One of the girls went home early so I was placed in a different zone than before.  I am now in a city called Leesburg and I'm still trying to adjust but I'm finding it to be harder than last time.  I LOVE this area and I'm in a family ward that is just awesome.  The members are so loving and they feed us every night.  Most of the members are older couples and they are just so sweet and fun to talk to.  I love hearing about all of their stories.  Plus, just yesterday the missionaries were given easily ten pounds of food for the month which I am so grateful for!  The members are just so giving and loving towards me and my companion and the elders that are also serving in the ward.  There is a couple that reminds me so much of Bedstemor and Big Papa!  They are just so sweet and caring.  I loved it!  Plus, I'm now learning to tract which is NOT easy, but definitely a new and humbling experience.

I'm working on getting along with my companion which is a bit harder.  I went from a trainer who followed every rule exactly to one who doesn't really follow rules and that's a hard adjustment.  Plus, I feel like we're not fully teaching by the Spirit which is SO frustrating!  But I'm still trying to improve our relationship and hopefully is gets better as time goes on.  I know that there's a lot she can teach me and I hope that I can learn a lot from her over the next 9 weeks.  She's pretty nice, we just think differently.

Levi, that's so great that you are trying out for so many things!  Good luck on your tennis and choir auditions, let me know how they go!  I am so excited for you!  You are such a wonderful example to me and I brag about you all the time here!  My companions all think that you're just such a great priesthood holder!

Tatum, thank you so much for your great email!  Sometimes I forget those things that you said and that was a great reminder to me.  I am praying for you every day!  You are beautiful and wonderful!  Everyone I talk to about you thinks that you're just the sweetest girl ever!  And they're right!

Booker, I sent you a 5 star treatment kiss today!  It's here in this email so you'd better stick them on!  You are so sweet and I love you SO much!  I talk about you and all of the other kids all the time, especially to members that we are teaching.  You are awesome!  I love and miss my little man!

Savannah, YEAH I HELD AN ALLIGATOR!!!  This is kind of the state that has those.  But I do want to hear about your boy stuff!  My companion and I don't really talk much so I would LOVE to hear from you!  I don't see the beach at all, however, I'm in an area that's surrounded by tons of lakes, so I get my fair share of watery views.  I miss my gorgeous sister!  You're pretty much the best ever!

John, that's so cool that we were so close!  But that's OK that you didn't stop by because I was transferred to another area by Wednesday last week which was kind of frustrating.  But oh well, it's what was supposed to happen, right?  I'm sorry about the picture not showing up!  I can't send it this week because I don't have an adaptor, but I'll definitely buy one today and send it next week!  How was the seminar?  That's kind of a bummer that you got homework, but hey, you're that much closer to becoming a golf pro!  I'm so excited and proud of you!  I've bragged about you to my companions because of your golf talent, but none of them really play.  :-(  I now have a new companion and I'm trying to get her, but it's a little harder than the last ones, but I'll work on it!

Mom, The alligators actually aren't that bad!  So far, I've only seen one.  I've seen some pretty massive bugs though, but it's nothing that I can't handle.  ;-)  Before I was transferred, I lived in an apartment that was made for one person, but somehow three of us fit in there.  Now that I've been transferred, I live in a small home which is super nice.  Now I have my own bathroom and closet!  I'm now living in a city called Leesburg and my companion and I work on the east side of the city and in other cities around here.  The ward is fantastic, and I know that I will NEVER go hungry in this area!  That's cool that you're in the other church building!  How do you guys like the change?  I'm SO jealous that you guys are going to California!  I'll be thinking of you guys while you're there.  Oh, btw, we can't go to Disney World while we're serving, so we need to go when I get back!  Disneyland works too though!  And yes, that mom that you talked to is one of my now old companion's mothers.  Sister Conant is awesome so I'm sure that her mother is too!  I've only heard great things about her!

I miss ALL of you and I hope that things are going great for you back home!  You guys are my biggest support and I'm so grateful for you all and all that you do.  I hope to soon send the younger kids a random gift that was given to me by one of the members.  It's weird, but funny at the same time.  I don't know when I'll be able to send it, but I'll do my best.

  1. I know you may not see this, but perhaps your family can pass it on to you. I just caught up on your blog and love your letters and pictures! I'm excited to join you in the mission field as soon as papers arrive for me. It sounds like you are loving Florida - no surprise there. What a blessing your mission is turning out to be for you and your family. You are wonderful! Keep up the great work!
    Love,
